The Belle City Brassworks is a 45-member all brass band with percussion founded in 1988 to provide a meaningful outlet for experienced brass players in Southeastern Wisconsin. The group performs concert music written for traditional British Brass Band instrumentation.
The band maintains an active performance schedule of concerts and civic functions while striving to give back to the community by annually forming a 70+ member youth band, bringing in acclaimed brass artists as a guest soloist and clinician for its Fall Brass Spectacular concert. The band also supports the youth in our area by presenting the Johnny Hemkes Memorial Scholarships Awards during its spring concert.
Since the theater capacity is 400 seats concert-goers are advised to make plans early to obtain their free tickets for this great afternoon of musical entertainment. Limited tickets will also be available at the door.
